The 2,276 collection aims to raise awareness among humanity, especially Guatemalans, on the 2,276 endangered species of flora and fauna, a number that unfortunately is increasing every year due to different circumstances such as poaching, trafficking illegal species, deforestation and consequently habitat loss. The 2,276 collection wishes to transmit a positive message of hope and optimism since by unifying the efforts of all mankind, we can reverse this figure. This collection also encourages small actions on a personal level, which, added together, can make a big difference. In this collection, the textiles represent the Jaguar, the Guacamaya, the Quetzal (national bird of Guatemala), the Venado Cola Blanca, the Monja Blanca (Guatemalan national flower), the “Gallito” and the Orchid.
